Hey Folks,

Great news! As of June 1, travel restrictions to the state of Vermont are to be lifted which means NO quarantine and NO tests are required for out of state visitors. Note that all regulations can change but as of now, this is the plan. There are still restrictions regarding masks and social distancing which are summarized here:

  • The state mask mandate is currently set to be in place until July 4 which means that masks are required when in the presence of others.

  • Practice social distancing maintaining six feet of distance from others.

  • If you are sick, please do not travel.

The Vermont Reopening Plan in detail can be found at https://www.vermont.gov/vermont-forward.

At The Little River Inn, we are rigorously following CDC and the Vermont Department of Health guidelines regarding lodging and food service sanitization and health safety best practices. Masks and social distancing are currently required in all of our indoor common areas and outdoors if others are present at least until July 4. We will revisit these restrictions as state and federal guidance continues in the coming weeks. In accordance with Vermont Health Department guidelines, in-room housekeeping services will only be available for stays of 5 or more nights and arranged by request. Our breakfast room is open to guests in the evening to allow for socially distanced take-out meals.

We are very fortunate that Vermont has among the lowest COVID-19 infection rates in the country and Stowe offers tons of recreational activities that are tailor-made for social distancing. We are looking forward to a Stowe summer full of the outdoor activities, events, and Green Mountain fun that makes our little town a top New England destination. We hope to see you soon!!
